Day 1 Coaching & Consulting

COMING UP NEXT!:Young adult Coaching

“Take the leap and then learn to become comfortable in the ambiguity of life.”

The transition between the end of high school into college, and college into the “real world” can be stressful and confusing. This major life shift often needs far more guidance then is offered and adequate mentorship is not always easily available.

The jump from high school to college brings with it an enormous increase in work, responsibility, expectations, and the need for self reliance. The graduation from college to the workplace demands even more maturity, confidence, and competency. I personally did an extra year of high school, and several years later, went directly to graduate school, just to give myself more time to figure things out.

My Young adult coaching program is specifically for those in their late teens and early twenties who are trying to figure out “what’s next,” and for those who may know where they belong, but not how to meet the expectations of the moment. School counselors are amazing and they do a wonderful job helping are youth, but they have hundreds and sometimes thousands of students to provide support to. I focus specifically on the individual client, their circumstances, their goals and dreams, and the habits that will get help or hinder their journey. We start within and allow their authentic desires, and talents to help clarify what they want to see for their next act in life.

YOU FIRST: Adult Coaching

The difference between a dream and a fantasy is a plan.”

On the TV show called “The Bear,” there’s a middle, aged, divorced character doesn’t get to see his daughter as much as he wants, and doesn’t feel like he has a purpose… Then one day he sees a sign on the wall, in the restaurant that he is begrudgingly interning at, that says “Every Second Counts,” and for this man, who is wasting away in feelings of inadequacy, and in the beliefs that he had lost all of his chances to do something with himself, despite the burning potential that he feels inside. For this man, that motto, that mantra, that code of living, saves him.

The majority of people on this planet are not living their highest personal potential. They are not living their most authentic selves, across-the-board, and that is such a sad waste. The way civilization has set up our societies, institutions, and economies is not looking for us to be aware, and conscious, and in alignment with our highest selves ,and our highest potentials. There are pre-made slots made for a certain amount of each of us and we are told to pick a slot and compete to get it. These slots may provide stability, and even wealth, but do they provide happiness, and purpose, and fulfillment? It doesn’t seem so.

This means that IF we would like to have a different experience for our lives, we have to be extraordinarily conscious, and aware, and resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to find our true place in the universe. It starts with questions; Questioning our priorities, our passions, our behaviors, and our goals. Next comes the planning. You can’t stop at clarity, because clarity is the beginning of action. It may serve as the motivation, but to take smart and efficient action, you need a plan. You need concrete steps towards achieving your goals… And that is where coaching comes in.

THE CONFIDENT PROFESSIONAL: Professional Coaching

“Work shouldn’t feel like work.”

Many years ago, I realized that I was a teacher who did not want to work in a classroom. I was stressed, out of shape, and tired al of the time. My romantic relationship fell apart because my professional unhappiness had bled into my home life and I didn’t have the energy to work on it. I loved teaching teenagers, but hated the lifestyle that seemed to come with it. I was only 26 years old! I made a change, left the school halls, and never looked back, and with it came freedom, joy, and the ability to enjoy the work once again.

We spend half of our lives working. Not playing with our kids, enjoying nature, or laughing with our friends. Working. You better love your work. You better get some sort of fulfillment from it. It better bring you joy.

For some, half a life of work a is a miserable reality… A sad necessity in the world we live in. Some take up a profession out of expectation, or beliefs that it was “just how things work.” But it doesn’t have to be this way. Nothing is cemented. Whether you in a job or profession where you believe you are limited, but capable and/or deserving of much more- more responsibility, more opportunity to grow and make more money- Or you feel that you need a bigger change and to find somewhere or something new, it can be hard to navigate such important transitions.

Helping professionals determine what they need learn, communicate, and change in order to have a more fulfilling job/professional and work life is a deeply held passion of mine. I know first hand how scary it is to make big changes to something that becomes so tied into our identity, and I know how amazing it can be on the other end of the choice. You deserve to spend half of your life working in and with joy. No buts.

SECOND ACT: Creatives Coaching

”There is a difference between being an artist, and being paid to do art.”

Being an Artist of any kind is HARD! Being internally compelled to create while externally compelled to also pay the rent is to be in a constant state of anxiety and compartmentalization. Sometimes it distracts from the art, even if it also has the ability to motivate us at times. For many our heads are down, hyper focused on “making it,” and getting to a place where we can quit our side jobs and focus on creation. However, if the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes have taught us anything, it is that even the working artist often lacks work stability and consistency.

For many years I watched actors, and writers, and dancers, etc, go through the seasonal cycles of trying to find work, and new representation, all while their relationships, bank accounts, and emotional health suffered. So few took the time to ask themselves if this lifestyle was what they still wanted. So few knew how to move forward when they realized it wasn’t.

So the The question is how can we create a more balanced life while pursuing our creativity, and if we are ready for a more drastic change, how the heck do we transition forward?!

☀️Are you an artist struggling to create a balance in your life between your artistic endeavors and everything else?

☀️Are you seeking clarity on what role and priority your art plays and what role you want it to play?

☀️Do you even still want to stay on the artist path? And if so, are you looking for a way to create greater balance so you don’t have to sacrifice anything to do so?

We all deserve to feel financially stable, to have relationships, and vacations, and all of the things that feed our art, even if we aren’t getting paid for our art. This offering was created with all of you artists in mind. Your peace is my joy, and you deserve both!

Wake Up: Men’s Transformational Coaching

“ The Problem With Men Is They Don’t know They Have A problem,. ”

On the TV show“The Bear,” there’s a middle, aged, divorced character who doesn’t get to see his daughter often, and doesn’t feel like he has a purpose… Then one day he sees a sign on the wall, in the restaurant that he is begrudgingly interning at, that says “Every Second Counts.” For this man, who is wasting away in feelings of inadequacy, and in the beliefs that he had lost all of his chances to do something with himself, despite the burning potential that he feels inside… For this man, that motto, that mantra, that code of living, saves him.

The majority of us men in our society are not living their highest personal potential. They are not living their most authentic selves, across-the-board. They are not living in purpose.

Many men work to avoid dealing with hard truths, they see relationships as responsibility, instead of opportunity, and many are more reactive than responsive. Many of us need help!

The worse part is, men rarely ask for help! We can’t even when we know we need it! We are so conditioned to act tough, to not show weakness, and to be rugged individuals, that help and asking for it means we’ve failed. Wake up fellas!

Let me let you in on a little secret… Looking deeply within, and facing everything inside… Truly knowing yourself, and sharing what you truly know about yourself with the people you love and who love you, is THE KEY to setting out on the path to ultimate fufillment.

IF we would like to have a different experience for our lives, we have to learn to be conscious, and aware, and present.

It starts with questions; Questioning our priorities, our passions, our behaviors, and our goals. Next comes the planning. You can’t stop at clarity, because clarity is the beginning of action. It may serve as the motivation, but to take smart and efficient action, you need a plan. You need concrete steps towards achieving your goals, feedback, and accountability… And that is where coaching comes in.

“Every Second Counts” fellas. It’s time to embrace your highest selves!
